TSA motors for Luxtram S.A. in Luxembourg
The next successful project for TSA: Spanish train manufacturer Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles S.A. (CAF) has ordered another 252 Urbos motors for 21 vehicles. LUXTRAM S.A., the company entrusted with the realization of a tram project in Luxembourg, has selected the Urbos type.
The new vehicles will operate on a route of 16 km with 24 tram stations, including a catenary-free street section of 3.6 km in the city center of Luxembourg. Luxexpo – Pont Rouge is the first section to enter service in mid 2017, the remaining route at the earliest in 2020.
