TSA traction motors under tough environmental conditions
Traktionssysteme Austria´s traction motors will be subject to a tough practical test in five new dieselelectrical push-pull trainsets
developed by CAF and supplied to Saudi Railway Company (SAR). A new route of 2750 km from Riyadh to Hudaitha in North Saudi Arabia will be tested at a speed of 200 km/h.
The trains will be equipped with restaurant and cafeteria cars, luggage vans as well as with family sections and prayer areas.
