CEO Günter Eichhübl says farewell to TSA after 21 years
Eichhübl’s direct area of responsibilities included Manufacturing and Production Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, Innovation Management, Health-Safety-Environment, Purchasing and Logistics, Facility Management and Quality Management.
‘There is hardly any comparison between TSA as it once was and what it has become today’, Eichhübl added. ‚The development of the company can be mostly attributed to two decisive factors. On the one hand, certain megatrends have worked in our favor, and will continue to do so. They include the worldwide trend toward rail transportation instead of road, urbanization, climate change, and a decline in individual travel within urban environments. But much more than the business environment, the personal contributions of all employees have driven the development of the company. Not just in conceptual strategy, but in the daily work they all do in their positions. It’s this engagement that has been the pillar of the company’s story over the last 20 years. I’d like to express my thanks and appreciation for that today.’
‘I would like to take the opportunity to emphasize once again the outstanding contribution Günter Eichhübl has made for this company’, said Robert Tencl, CEO of Traktionssysteme Austria who will take over the sole management as of July. ‘Today’s TSA is wearing his fingerprint. More than anyone else, he has transformed it into what it represents today: an international technology company which is Innovative. Independent. Impassioned. I wish him all the best for his future.’
Günter Eichhübl’s professional orientation will now take a different direction. He will focus his energies and attention on various consulting activities and devote himself to his hobbies, especially to cycling.
