On Course for Success: TSA Wins New Order for Maintenance of Way Vehicles
Traktionssysteme Austria (TSA) has started its business partnership with Hungarian bogie manufacturer Ganz Motors already in 2018 and was now awarded with the first order.
The electric motor TMF 59-33-4, one of TSA‘s bestsellers was adapted to Ganz Motors‘ bogie and the first 4 prototypes were delivered last year. TSA has now won the first series order for 46 electric motors with an option for 4 additional motors. The bogies will be installed into vehicles of US manufacturer of railroad maintenance equipment Loram. The deliveries of the e-motors are scheduled between June 2021 and August 2020. The vehicles will be in service in India and Australia.
With our commitment and this order we are not only contributing to the expansion of the rolling stock infrastructure, but we are also strengthening the TSA presence in the Maintenance of Way rail vehicles.
