Two next-gen trams equipped with TSA motors begin winter-testing in Moscow
The first of two next-gen tramway models started their winter running trials and durability testing on the network of Moscow tram operator Mosgortrans. Both of them are equipped with motors designed and produced by TSA from Wiener Neudorf, Austria.
The car on the left in the picture below is called „Metelitsa” (which stands for „blizzard”) and is being manufactured by Stadler Rail, whereas the tram to the right is called „City Star” and is being supplied by Russian rolling stock producer PK Transport Systems. The picture was taken in Moscow on February 20th and marks the official start of the trials.
