TSA expands customer base in Italy

The Italian railway company Trenord based in Milan is operating two train lines with a total of 19 GTW articulated railcars by Stadler (11 GTW 4/12 railcars and 8 GTW 2/6 railcars).
Following a purchase order by Trenord, Traktionssysteme Austria will deliver a spare parts package consisting of four drives (motor & gearbox), as well as four generators, couplings and replacement parts which are to be delivered in the fourth quarter 2015.
This order marks the first important step for TSA into the After Sales Market in Italy. The negotiations between Trenord and TSA indicated further opportunities for a possible future cooperation.
